Projects to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Sewing Centers
Need: 60 Sewing Machines
Cost: $150/each or give a gift in part for $50
Total: $9000
Purpose: Help to uplift Community as well as standard for women through TECHNICAL TRAINING like (Sewing Center), thus promoting micro-business.

Why we need sewing Center?
For example in many places throughout India a high percentage of the women and girls are illiterate, domestic violence is very much prevalent in families and have little or no access to financial assistance. These Projects would make a difference amongst the women of Maharastra - especially in slum area of Pune.
Sewing Projects would run as teacher tailoring centers alongside our local ministry, so that these women can experience dignity, status and value in the community while knowing they can help provide for their families. And the most important and the greatest gift these women receive is the good news of Jesus Christ. Before each tailoring session starts there will be is a short devotion time and for most of the women it would be a first time that they can hear of God who loves and cares for them unconditionally. We believe that this project would be a valuable tool and a way to reach out to women in the slum.

Computer Center
Need: 30 Computers
Suggested Gift: $375 or give a gift in part for $50.
Total: $11,250
India - They are seen just about everywhere in India's largest cities - poor and homeless children living and hanging out on the streets. Some hustle enough rupees here and there to pay for an occasional plate of rice.
An expanding economy is creating new wealth and opportunities in India.
The head of the Global Council of Indian Christians says in cities like Pune, thousands of young children and teens have yet to benefit from the economic boom.. "And they're being robbed of their youth and childhood." BridgeStones International's vision is to "restore the lost childhood to the child".
"This project is specially designed for educating and uplifting the people, due to lack of finance poor people cannot get an opportunity to join computer courses though they have a great heart & desire to learn computer skills. Furthermore in government schools here in India do not have many facilities to learn computer courses. We believe that computer skills are a must in the coming generations as it is becoming useful and needed thru all levels of society in nearly all arenas. Our ministry wants to enable them to receive computer training free. Because of this many people especially youth can be able to do good jobs in the offices, mills. and other areas where computer skills are required. This makes it easy for us to have opportunities to demonstrate and talk about God's Word to their families, thus encouraging and equipping evangelists to strategically utilize this kind of project in fulfilling the Great Commission."
-Sujit, native missionary in Pune with BridgeStones Int'l

Vehicle For Gathering People
Need: Two 35 seater Buses
Cost: $20,000 or give a gift in part for $250.
Total: $40,000
Why we need the bus?...
Since year 2001 we have reached many people across India including Pune, Bihar, Bangalore, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Calcutta, etc...with good news of Jesus Christ and we praise God for that yet the difficult thing we are facing at moment is that we are not able to gather people at one place for training, worship and fellowship and other special meetings because we do not have proper transport (bus) and these poor people are not able to spend money to come so far by for fellowship and at the same time having the challenge of providing funds enough finance to support their traveling and have activities like youth and woman fellowship, Sunday school, church together, our other purpose to use this bus for medical camp, picnic, outreach program, attending crusade and seminar etc...

Sponsoring a Pastor
Need: Pastor to be sponsored
Suggested Gift: $200/month - $2400/annual or give a gift in part for $50.
What a great opportunity to support a pastor's family like Paul & Satyavathi who are sacrificing their lives to reach other people with Jesus' love, & truth! And all the more as every pastor/leader/teacher that we offer to potentially sponsor are part of our network and have good close accountability with every area of their lives and family. What an encouragement for them to be sponsored and not to have to have added pressure with how many are currently often missing meals and more because lack of resources.
*And many do not have the ability to ‘work' another job because of two reasons:
1-Due to the nature of locations where they have to go to minister (as some travel hours to get to and from the people they are caring for).
2-Because of many of them living in villages and small towns who may remain hostile to Christianity, and they are not accepted to do ‘business'.
And we know it's your heart to sponsor those in need for the Kingdom thru your Biblical Worldview-as Jesus' very heart and words were "do to others what you would want them to do for you..." -Matt 7.12

Building Churches
Need: Places of Worship & Gathering of believers & for community involvement (primarily built by cement/block/brick).
Suggested Gift: $2000 or give a gift in part for $75
Purpose:
* For within villages & towns (even often the same in cities) there are great difficulties and ill-tolerance to one believer or some believers in a family unit-therefore meeting in homes can be impossible-however even more is the fact that most people live in small sized huts, cement-one room rented ‘homes' which make it quite difficult to gather people.
* Furthermore because of the extreme weather patterns such as the raining season, and dry hotter seasons, having a building will help with those conditions-and be more stable/secure.
* Finally, they can have more opportunities to have multiple programs etc as well as reaching into their communities more effectively by having as a ‘multipurpose' building.
* For many whether in smaller communities or larger, there is something about a location ‘with a presence'-and a ‘sanctuary' away from distractions and issues/struggles in life-to gather to worship/train/grow etc.

Community Center
Need: Place where community gatherings can be organized as well a local projects.
Cost: $30,000 or give a gift in part for $200
Need to build up a Community Hall
Purpose:
In state of Maharastra predominant religion is Hindu. Only two percent are counted to be Christians. There is much poverty and need within the lowest class of downtrodden peoples. It is not at all easy to preach the word of God since people are very much involved in idol worship and Satan has blind there eyes
We bridges stones started our work in year 2005,since than By the grace of God and help of Jon and seena syrbe and staff we reach many people with good news through activities like children sponsorship for education, woman and youth fellowship, Sunday school , bible study, and helping in need of most
As the dream of every missionary is to see people come to know the Savior and to see the believers worshipping the living God in their own communities,
At present we are having all the activities in small house and by the grace of God people are growing rapidly and house is not sufficient and most of the time children's (people) has to stand on the road and does not benefit at all, it is very much painful to see due to lack of place people are return back home
Also holding services at houses deprives the Pastor from receiving legal protection because a house gathering will not be considered as a religion institution. Moreover, it is difficult to grow a church when the location of service is changing frequently.
To fulfill this dream we do not have fund to build community hall
Where we can have not only worship but also have medical camp, tuition for poor children's, small nursery and seminar that will help people to grow socially and spiritually

Library
Need: A place where kids and others in the surrounding communities can connect & come to read, learn & listen to educational materials etc, while being exposed to God's love for them, like the tremendous heart that Prabha & Mary have.
Cost: $15,000 or give a gift in part for $100

Blankets
Need: 200 Blankets
Suggested Gift: $5
Total: $1000
Purpose: All throughout India there are seasons and times where the temperatures fall to dangerous levels for the well-being of people-especially children & the elderly. Many can't afford to keep themselves warm-and sometimes not even warm enough to survive. Here you see Vimal giving out blankets and other necessities to a local slum community in Andhra Pradesh.

Children's School
Name: KING's KIDS SCHOOL.

Location: Jangareddigudem, Andhra Pradesh
Vision: Restoring Children's Value: For many children, there has been a sense of lost childhood. Where they have been overwhelmed with pressures & challenges around them or having been orphaned, the vision of the school is to give them a sense of love, security, identity, purpose, training, fun and future. We are working to create a healthy model with care, quality and excellence that will raise the standard & be multiplied. We will be extending invitations for government officials and other authorities/leaders/teachers in the education system to come and observe.

Animals For Sustenance
Need: For families to acquire buffalos, cows, chickens, goats, and more to not only helping them momentarily but also sustaining them for the future as they can breed/multiply and sell the animals for profit. In addition we discuss the truths of what God says about animals and how we ought to take good care of them-being good stewards.
Suggested Gift: $25-$300
*$25 for 5-6 Chickens
*$375 for a Buffalo or Cow
*$ 75 for one Goat

Home For The Elderly
Need: Home for widows in Andhra Pradesh. Each home can facilitate 5o widows.
Cost: $10,000 each home-includes all furnishings, beds etc!
Suggested Gift: $150
India has been known to extend little to no value towards women-especially towards widows. Actually their history is plagued with memories of many wives buried alive with their deceased husbands. We know that James in the New Testament says, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." -James 1.27 (NIV)

One of the focuses of BridgeStones are interior Tribal places where the Gospel has not been preached before. Our pastors who are a part of the network who altogether are 12 regular and 8 non regular pastors (in AP) walk through valleys, forests and uphill areas to reach these most dangerous and interior Tribal and Rural areas to reach those who never heard the Gospel before. Pastors and Evangelists involve and put in a lot of efforts to reaching the most interior places and preaching the Gospel in all Seasons irrespective of heat, cold and rainfall. Our heartbeat is that of the "Two Hands of the Gospel" as Founder of Mercy Ships Don Stephens says. One hand meeting the spiritual needs and the other their physical needs-which includes distributing medicine for the people in the villages we visit, conducting medical camps, distributing clothes and other necessities depending upon the time & need because of their poor and neglected state of lives, thus expressing the Love of God in deeds, bringing meaning to the Gospel that is being preached to them. Thus planting churches in tribal villages.

Can you help in making this a special Christmas, an unexpected blessing to appreciate their hard labor?
God was prompting us to think of joining hands to bring a blessing for them that meets the purpose. Providing a kit for evangelism will be considered a great ‘gift' of encouragement that will be helping them further in the planting of churches in many more villages.

Surgery/Medical Care
Need: Funding for surgeries for cleft palette, burn, fractures, eye etc...
Suggested Gift: $150
Purpose: Within India, and many developing countries, medical & surgical care is reserved for those who come with money in hand. Therefore without money, one does not receive care that is needed. Medical Insurance is an unheard of concept. Neither position is affordable, hence the acute cases that arise often.
Further funding for medical care provides hope & healing to the hopeless.
One example is this precious little girl Pavithra, who had an accident because of her drunken father could have died, and Jon Syrbe carried her to a local hospital that not only saved her life brought brought her family & many others to Jesus as a result! The other man Raju had fallen 4 stories doing construction, and we enabled him to have surgery to remove these rods in his legs that were 2 years overdue because they did not have the money for operation. *We offer Community Health Education in many locations we reach out to.

Motorcycles
Need: Motorcycles for reaching long distances & conserving lost time traveling via bus, bicycle or foot. Aids brilliantly thru emergencies that arise as well. For example this pastor Jammi John & his wife Annamma have been faithful serving the Lord for over 20 years struggling riding a bicycle with his wife on the back for several miles each day-not to mention 80% of any little support they get is for taking buses to get to the people they are caring for.
Suggested Gift: $850 or give a gift in part for $25

"Jon Syrbe paints a written picture of human behavior worldwide and touches on relevant topics where each of us can improve our interpersonal relations. He calls us to live higher and not settle for mediocrity no matter what our line of work. This book teaches us about character, integrity, servant hood, the requirements for quality leadership & followers, and the discernment to know if situations and people are right for our life. It is very evident to see a great deficiency in our world with regards to value. Inside you will gain further insights towards restoring value to life, ministry, and the workplace, while considering the two primary questions in life: ‘Why do I believe what I believe?' And, ‘Why do I do what I do'."

Fresh Water Bore Wells:
Need: Drilled area for well water
As said water is life. Water is essential to support human life.
One fifth of the world's population lacks access to clean drinking water. Another major cause of pollution to water is sewage dumping. In developing countries, 92% of human wastewater is discharged untreated into nearby rivers that are frequently sources of drinking water, thus contributing to further hazards to health & life.
Actually Dr Gary Parker of Mercy Ships has said 80% of diseases & death related are due to unclean water, poor sanitation & lack of hygiene. And so with more wells drilled & pumps placed, we can see literally innumerable lives saved-and living healthier, safer & productive lives. ***Along with providing clean water we are always educating on how to maintain clean water & hygienically better.
Suggested Gift: $500 or give a gift in part for $25

Home Restoration
Need: Restoring homes/huts that have been in disrepair or damaged or unfinished due to economic challenges
Suggested Gift: $300 or give a gift in part for $25
Purpose: Often many families have make-shift huts/homes that have been without proper closure/roofing/protection from the elements etc. because living to survive is difficult enough. For example you see Thulasi's one room home where they suffered for 12 years because they being illiterate-had unknowingly signed away their land and more to the uncles. Since then, we have been sponsoring 3 of their children (1st generation literate) since 2000, helped them with favor from authorities to retrieve some of their land, and replaced their cow-dung floors and boarded/patched walls where rats & snakes enter-to a clean, sealed living area with a ‘dignity wall' to be able to bath & change without onlookers inside. Twelve people reside here in this 25ft x 10ft ‘home'. *To the left was after the first phase already being closed up.

Restore Value to Slum Community 0f 70!
Need: The Chenchu People in Andhra Pradesh
Suggested Gift:
$4000 TOTAL! TO RESTORE VALUE & LIFE TO A WHOLE COMMUNITY!
or give a gift in part for $50
* $3000 for a day care facility including furniture, computer, dvd player, Kitchen supplies and more. This provides a tremendous alternative to the community!
* $1000 for family provisions (proper roofing, stove, cots, water can clothes etc!)
Purpose: BridgeStones Int'l were the first ones to ever reach out to these beloved-yet downtrodden people who live in make-shift tents constructed of any imaginable types of scraps they had been able to rummage up throughout their daily wanderings. No water, no sanitation, no toilets, no electricity. The women are found begging daily, while the men scour around looking for daily work loading, or other manual labor. They had not realized the value of education & literacy for their children-thus the cycle has continued-a demonstration of this is the preference of dragging the children along with them begging as as the child tugs on the heart more than the adults.
As we've been meeting them on a weekly basis for more than 2 years there's a slow sense of life emerging, and openness to God's love. Part of the transformation process is enabling the children to reside at the school we are currently building.
With no motivation for them to even think of restoration and betterment challenged us to take the initiative to give them the taste of betterment by providing them the resources that makes them feel the joy of life in God and encourage them to live it out by desiring to continue living better. For this, to help give them security we provide them minimum resources like Tarbels for covering their roofs to protect from rain leakage, lanterns for light folding cots 2 for each family (for they sleep on floor where there is no security from snakes and dangerous insects from the bush surrounding them), fresh water which costs initially 100 Rupees ($1.25USD) and can be refilled for pennies everyday, Kerosene stoves for cooking etc...
